    re: Peeper puppets
Great little tool! I purchase them in bulk by the hundreds (www.peeperspuppet.com) and use them in puppet seminars for children’s workers around Europe, Russia, & Central Asia. I place it over a sock on my hand, creating an instant puppet with eyes and nose! The sock “mouth” is kept to the back of the hand by sewing a strip of stretch band at both ends of the inside toe seam for the hand to slip through and hold in place. I then store the “Peepers” inside the sock when traveling. Have used it while waiting in airports, train stations, or children meetings in remote regions of Asia. Kids love ‘em.

    Peepers DIY option:
Two ping pong balls (add pupils) with a white sewing stretch band sewn into a loop to fit around middle finger. Double parallel slits are cut in the bottom of both balls to feed stretch band through before sewing loop shut. Also great to use for practicing your puppet manipulation any time or place!
